The Škoda Peaq is here, and it’s the brand’s biggest, most practical and most ambitious electric car yet. It’s also Škoda’s first-ever seven-seat EV, effectively bringing the Kodiaq formula into the electric age.
Nicola Hume gets behind the wheel to find out whether the Peaq can combine huge amounts of space with an impressive 390-mile range, an 86kWh battery and up to 299hp. There’s also a brand-new interior, a huge 13.6-inch portrait touchscreen, clever seven-seat practicality and up to 2,075 litres of boot space.
But is it actually good to drive? And with prices stretching beyond £60,000, does the Peaq make sense against rivals such as the Peugeot E-5008 and Mercedes GLB?
