In this video I present a simple jazzy version of "In the Summertime" by Mungo Jerry that I prepared for the Jazzduets Foundational Soul Scale Improvisation Course.
This simple Blues In E includes a written solo that features the notes of the Major Blues scale on each chord.
There is a modulation half way through up a semi-tone to F, after which the notes of the Seven Note Souls Scale are featured.
