A massive 14-foot, 844-pound alligator nicknamed "Snaggletooth" was successfully captured in South Carolina's Lake Moultrie on September 28 by hunter Chris Webb. Captured on footage by Renegade Bowfishing, the giant reptile was reeled in after a four-year pursuit. Because South Carolina's strict alligator-hunting season only runs from the second Saturday of September to the second Saturday of October each year, the elusive beast had managed to repeatedly dodge hunters despite being spotted frequently out of season.
