Fact check: Biden flying migrants into the U.S.
There is a federal program which allows Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans to legally travel by plane into the United States. Reason's César Báez is one of those migrants who traveled to the U.S. fully self-funded.
Any citizen or legal resident can sponsor a migrant if they show they are financially stable enough to support them. The sponsored individual must undergo a security screening to determine if they're eligible to fly to the States. All expenses are paid by the sponsor or sponsored individual, and when they arrive, migrants can be put on parole for up to two years.
