Israeli forces have intercepted a flotilla of dozens of boats that organisers say were carrying aid for people in Gaza.
The vessels from the Global Sumud Flotilla sent live video feeds as they were boarded off the coast of Cyprus. They originally set off from Turkey and the Turkish Foreign Minister said the action by the Israeli military constituted 'a new act of piracy'. It is being reported that that the detained activists will be taken to a large naval ship to the Israeli port of Ashdod.
