A 34-year-old man, Marc Marino, was arrested in Northern California after surveillance footage allegedly showed him stealing about $1,400 worth of tools before slipping on a skateboard and crashing into a van he was suspected of burgling. The Vacaville Police Department said a tip from an observant resident, surveillance footage and detective work helped officers identify the suspect and recover the stolen tools. Marino was charged with multiple felonies, including grand theft, theft with prior convictions, probation violation and conspiracy, police said.
