A week after the leader of the Rochdale grooming gang was released from prison, the home secretary is due to set out plans to change the UK’s Immigration Act, which prevented Shabir Ahmed from being deported.
Ahmed had been serving a 22 year sentence for 30 counts of child rape when he was released.
But so far Pakistan has insisted it won't take Ahmed back.

We spoke to Shahzad Akbar, a Pakistani political dissident. Akbar is a former aide of the country's previous prime minister Imran Khan, who is himself in jail on corruption charges, which he argues are politically motivated.
Akbar, who currently lives in the UK, is accused of spreading propaganda by the Pakistani government.
