
Lindsey Graham dies after ‘brief and sudden illness’
The death has been announced of the senior Republican senator Lindsey Graham. The 71-year-old, who was in Kyiv on Friday meeting President Zelenskyy, suffered 'a brief and sudden illness' at home on Saturday night, according to his office.
A senator since 2003 and a known foreign policy hawk, Lindsey Graham went from being a vocal Trump critic to one of the President's most prominent supporters.
Today the White House flag was flown at half mast to mark his passing.
