A new Ebola vaccine has been approved to be tested in the UK. It’s the first of the four vaccines being developed to enter clinical trials and researchers from the University of Oxford are looking for 50 healthy adults to take part.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, patients in the Ituri Province are taking part in the PARTNERS clinical trial, sponsored by the World Health Organization, to test out two different drugs: Remdesivir, and MBP134.
There’s currently no vaccine or approved treatment for the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola. So far, 1,792 cases and 625 deaths have been confirmed by WHO.
