If you look at a map of Brazil, almost the entire population is pushed right up against the ocean. Most people assume the massive Amazon Rainforest is to blame. But the Amazon actually had nothing to do with it. For centuries, Brazil was physically trapped on the beach by a 2,600-foot wall of solid rock. Today, we're looking at the ultimate geographic villain, and how conquering this impossible cliff accidentally created a global megacity.
