Do you think this will make work better? #work #worklife #job
Student Loan Repayment Plans are one benefit employers are using to attract and keep talent.
And this type of perk is just one of several trends Gartner researchers say we should keep an eye out for work in business in 2024 as companies begin to recognize and address the changing needs of their employees.
60% of employees say the cost of going to the office outweighs the benefits, 67% feel that going to the office requires more effort than it did pre-pandemic, and 73% say it feels more expensive. Unsurprisingly, 48% of employees say RTO mandates prioritize what leaders want over what employees need to do good work.
To combat this, Gartner is predicting that companies will offer creative types of benefits like Housing Subsidies, where an  employer will help you find a place to live near the office. Or benefits for parents, like  On-Site Daycare. Or  even recommendations for your pet for their health or pet insurance.  Employers might also offer financial well being programs that can help you plan and save.
What do you think about this trend? Do you think it will make work better? Or are there more changes you’re looking for companies to make this year?
