Metropolitan Police announce 100 extra officers to protect London’s Jewish community

The Metropolitan Police has announced that a team protection team of 100 extra officers

will help safeguard the Jewish community.
Since late March, there have been a series of arson attacks at Jewish sites in London, as well as a double stabbing in Golders Green that is being treated as an act of terrorism.
The Met said the new team will be made up of officers from neighbourhood policing, specialist protection and those with counter terrorism capabilities.
