A British man has set a new world record for going 406.320 mph (653.908 kph) in a hydrogen-powered car.

Andy Green smashed the previous record of 185.5 mph (298.5 kph) for a car in that category.
The 64-year-old retired Royal Air Force pilot also set the overall land-speed record in 1997, when he broke the sound barrier going 763.035 mph in a car powered by jet engines.
The British carmakers, JCB, wanted to showcase the power of clean-energy hydrogen cars.
Hydrogen is often made using fossil fuels but JCB have signed a deal to buy green hydrogen, which is created using renewable energy.
