At least 600 buildings have been destroyed after fast-moving wildfires tore through the area around Spokane, Washington.

The fires are among dozens burning across the western US, with around 390 square miles scorched across Washington state.
Several of the blazes remain uncontained as firefighters continue to battle the flames.
No injuries have been reported so far, but officials say it's still early in the response and warn that hot, dry conditions are expected to continue.
The cause of the fires are under investigation.
