Firefighters are struggling to contain wildfires across France and Spain, as hundreds of thousands evacuate.

In France, around 42,000 hectares have burned as the winds push flames towards Bordeaux.In Spain alone, around 76,000 people have been evacuated.
Another 30,000 have been told to stay indoors and an elderly man has died near Valencia. Large areas of the fire near Madrid have been contained, the military say.
