How to Build Boxing Strength at Home (For All Fighters)
https://youtu.be/YRrgN_h10P0
You don't need a gym to start boxing training at home, only the exact three step formula Tony Jeffries, Olympic medalist boxer, would teach in person. The boxing stance comes first, since every other movement in boxing builds from it. Footwork comes next, followed by the three main punches that turn into real combinations once they are put together. A defensive move and a counter punch round out the formula by the end, all from your living room.
One footwork rule you should always remember is matching the distance both feet travel, since stepping unevenly brings your feet too close together and throws off your balance. The most common mistake beginners make on the one two is letting the chin lift and the lead hand drop right after the second punch. Bringing both hands straight back to your face fixes that instantly. Once the punches are locked in, a defensive move slots straight into your combinations and builds into a five punch combination you can start throwing the same day.
