Back on the Train is one of those Phish tunes that's a blast to play once you know the chord shapes. The whole song runs on F7, B flat major, and A flat major, and if you know your movable chord shapes it comes together pretty quickly.
The progression bounces between those three chords in a way that has a real New Orleans groove to it. Once the changes feel comfortable the fun part is locking into that rhythm and just riding the groove.
