Ukraine's prime minister has said Russia launched a massive combined attack on the country's energy infrastructure, causing power blackouts in Kyiv and several other regions.
At least three people were killed in the capital, including a 14-year-old child. Ukraine said it had managed to shoot down five ballistic missiles and more than 150 drones, but residential buildings and warehouses were set on fire - while a western embassy was also damaged.
