The RIGHT Way to Tie Your Shoes!
There's a good chance that you're tying your shoes the wrong way--let's fix that!
To start, take one lace in each hand. First, the lace in your DOMINANT hand goes OVER and AROUND, then pull tight.
Next, make a loop with the lace in your DOMINANT hand. Then, the most important part: the OTHER lace comes OVER and AROUND the loop, from FRONT to BACK. (This is the part most people get incorrect, bringing the other lace UNDER the loop from back to front. Your finished bow will want to sit vertically across the shoe, which looks unattractive, and the knot will be more likely to come untied.)
To finish up, push the lace through to create your second loop, and pull tight, adjusting as necessary.
Now, check your bow; it should lie horizontally across the shoe, and stay horizontal if you pull at the shoe.
