19 Things Men Should NEVER Wear, Pt. 1
Part 1 of our list of 19 things we think men should never wear!
1. Sandals (when not near water)
They look particularly bad when you combine them with socks but they can even be clunky on their own. Wear them at the beach, pool, or gym but not otherwise. The same goes for flip-flops.
2. Cargo shorts
Unless you're on a hike, you probably don't need to carry this much stuff. Having items in your cargo short pockets makes you look asymmetrical and not well put together.
3, Matching ties and pocket squares
Ties and pocket squares are often sold in sets, usually in ugly, shiny satin polyester. They just look cheap. Buy individual accessories instead.
4. Short socks (with business attire)
You shouldn't wear a suit with short socks, for instance. No one wants to see your hairy calves and even if you shave them it's not appropriate in a professional environment.
5. A tie with an unbuttoned shirt collar
The sole purpose of wearing a tie is to make you look more dapper and elegant so either wear a tie properly or just go without for a more casual look.
