The UK Health Security Agency has announced that one person has died and hundreds have fallen ill in a salmonella outbreak.

More than a third of those affected have needed hospital treatment, with the majority of cases in London and Yorkshire.
Investigators are using genome sequencing to trace the outbreak.
207 cases have so far been linked to a common source, which experts believe may be eggs imported into the UK.
