Two people have been killed in Texas after floodwater swept them away in their vehicles, as the US state prepares for 'record-shattering' rainfall in the coming hours.
The region includes Camp Mystic, on the Guadalupe River, which was the site of last year's disaster that claimed many young victims in flash floods.
The heavy rains in the Southwest of America coincided with record-breaking temperatures in the mid-west and north east of the country.
