India’s youth-led Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has called for the country’s Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to resign over allegations of manipulating voter rolls.

An Indian Express investigation found Kumar’s two fellow commissioners had repeatedly questioned how voters were being added and removed from the rolls.
The commission said the changes were to ensure voter lists were up to date and free of duplicate entries, but critics say they leave millions unable to vote.
