Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, which owns ChatGPT, said that the world was yet to fully grasp how quickly AI could speed up development.
Speaking at North Carolina's G20 innovation Ministerial conference with US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Mr Altman also urged governments to adopt the technology, saying doing otherwise would be comparable to rejecting electricity during the industrial era.
