The Reform party has denied wrongdoing and launched an internal investigation. Nigel Farage has insisted that the party has broken no laws. The two senior Reform UK figures – James Orr and Dan Jukes – have both stepped down from their roles within the party and denied wrongdoing.
Channel 4 News did not pay Verbatim or any associated companies – nor did it pay an actor in a previous 2024 investigation into Reform UK, as Ms Dorries claims. Ofcom assessed complaints about the programme and concluded that they did not raise substantive issues warranting further investigation.
