Donald Trump has announced what he called the "biggest oil deal in world history" with Venezuela - claiming the US would get control over more than a fifth of the country's oil reserves.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio claimed the deal would bring a hundred billion dollars in private investment and support thousands of "high paying jobs" in Venezuela.
The US president didn't give any details - but insisted there would be no cost to American taxpayers
