Hong Kong democracy campaigner Joshua Wong could spend his life in prison after pleading guilty to collusion with foreign entities - a crime under the territory’s national security law.

The 29-year-old was accused of conspiring to ask foreign countries, institutions, organisations or individuals outside China to impose sanctions or blockades against Beijing.
Wong has been fighting for democracy in the territory since he was a teenager, but has been the subject of China’s tightening crackdown on civil liberties.
