US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have spent the day in Kyiv with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy to discuss proposals to end the war with Russia.

It's the pair's first-ever visit to Ukraine as negotiators. Mr Kushner conveyed that President Trump was very keen to see an end to the war, though details on how this could be achieved are unclear.
