Phillipson: Reform denying rules broken on donations is 'attempt to undermine our democracy'
Speaking to Channel 4 News, Bridget Phillipson said the allegations surrounding Reform UK donations were “extremely serious” and that they “look really like an attempt to undermine our democracy”.

It comes after Nigel Farage was filmed by undercover reporters from Verbatim as part of a year-long investigation into alleged attempts to secure donations from foreign sources and potential breaches of electoral law.
The Reform UK party has denied wrongdoing and launched an internal investigation. Nigel Farage has insisted that the party has broken no laws. James Orr and Dan Jukes have both stepped down from their roles within the party and denied wrongdoing.
