American journalist and social activist Gloria Steinem has died aged 92.

Steinem was a powerful advocate for women's liberation from the 1970s onwards, who challenged sexist assumptions and helped women develop a sense of self-worth.
Among her many campaigns, she promoted the Take Our Daughters to Work Day project as a way for girls to learn about future career opportunities.
