The number listed as missing almost doubled Monday and that is still expected to rise as more settlements are reached.
Soldiers and police have been deployed to help search for hundreds of workers thought to be trapped at hydropower sites in Nepal after the catastrophic flash floods.
The deluge of mud, rocks and ice inundated at least 12 sites, trapping workers inside tunnels. Oxygen is being pumped into one site to keep workers alive while rescuers try to gain access.
We arrived in the devastated village of Betrawati just as the official teams started retrieving more bodies.
