This is a short (3 min) piano piece that I've written for you to try your skills on! There's a PDF score to download (link below) and the tutorial includes a full walkthrough of the piece. The whole thing is actually less difficult to play than it sounds, and I include several suggestions for simplifying it.
Along the way I cover some important concepts for piano players - especially "tempo rubato" ("robbed time"), the art of varying the tempo of a piece for expressive effect.
