This is the second part of my two-part piano tutorial on chord symbols and how they work. In this part we'll be looking at symbols for more complex chords, included add9 and sus chords, altered chords of various types, polychords and interval stacks.
Like the previous tutorial, this isn't for absolute beginners: I'm assuming you know what the chords actually *are* - rather, it's about clearing up the confusion that can surround the symbols we use to represent them. If you need to refresh your chord knowledge, try this tutorial:
