538 people have so far been confirmed dead after flash flooding swept through Nepal while more than 1,500 people are still missing, 33 of them from the UK, officials say.
Some of the worst hit areas are impossible to reach except by helicopter, making it difficult to assess the extent of the damage.
Further evacuations have been ordered amid warnings that an overflowing lake could trigger yet more catastrophic flooding.
