It is crazy what there is to find out in the places that few people get to visit. A jet boat ride on the fraser river is amazing, because you can cover so much territory that is impossible to see any other way. We went out in the boat looking for a completely different story, but finding this house on the hillside was a real treat. I have asked around town, but still have not found the answer to why it was abandoned, or who even owns it. Either way, what a fun place to explore.
The wildfire season is officially here, and dense smoke is just something were going to have to deal with in the coming weeks. I think the air quality will improve when we head north, but for now this is what we will be seeing.
